You child might taking longer time on video game than interacting with other kids on the playground, which might have an effect their outlook toward socialization with other person. We need to be aware of our child playing time. For boys, it is private group of friend. They discuss about the graphic or how to get high score is main subject of discussion which is a best way to acquaint other kids. This is a cool thing for them. You will be more comfortable if give them limit on playing video games. It is best to move the computer or video console in common room where you can easily see the game they are playing and time they spend. It is also best to know what type of game you child is playing, when their fellow kids playing games with them. There should be a balance time and not more on video games. They should interest in any other subject and not only about video games like what the latest fashion, about with their female friends, or maybe what they plan for the weekends. Do you know if computer games creating problem with them? Are they heads straight on computer upon coming from school? When their friends come over, would they rather play video games than go outside? Do their fellow kids come to your house to play games? Take stock of your child's behavior. If they are spending too much time in the world of fast cars, monster aliens and dragons, maybe it's time to get them to mingle with some real people. Everyone even kids need to share their lives with other people who can talk back to them. Limit video game and encourage more social interaction.
